DOKIPY will connect existing data management centers that are central in the IPY-activities in Norway. These centers have long-term mandates for data management in different disciplines.

Through DOKIPY databases at the Norwegian Polar Institute, Institute of Marine Research and Norwegian Meteorological Institute containining IPY data have been connected through exchange of metadata.
